ACAR Conductor incorporate an exclusive concentric layer braiding design, Manufactured from a mixture of circular aluminum wires, specific, ultra-hard grade 1350-H19 and durable alloy 6201-T81. These drivers are available in flexible configurations, as single or multi-layer structures, Designed to provide the strength and current carrying capacity needed for a variety of applications. In particular, for an equivalent weight, ACAR conductors outperform their ACSR counterparts in both resistance and ampacity.
